This approach reflects a broader commitment to fostering a purposeful future by embracing values such as teamwork, integrity, excellence, humility, and the spirit of Deixa Comigo – meaning ''we've got you,'' which symbolizes trust and support within the workplace.
Fogo de Chao operates as more than just a restaurant; it's a place where career growth and personal development are encouraged at every level. The company recognizes that better futures begin when everyone brings their best to the table, starting with its team members. By offering fulfilling job opportunities and creating an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome, Fogo de Chao positions itself as a leading employer in the hospitality industry. The company culture emphasizes a strong sense of community and collaboration, making it an ideal environment for those who are passionate about service and appreciate the art of fine dining.
Now Hiring: Server / Waiter / Waitress
The Server position at Fogo de Chao plays a critical role in ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service from the moment they enter the restaurant until the time they leave. The role is geared toward individuals who are outgoing, attentive, and committed to delivering a warm and memorable dining experience. Servers are responsible for greeting guests with a smile, guiding them through the menu, answering any questions about meal preparation, and supporting the continuous tableside serving concept unique to the churrasco style of dining. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Servers at Fogo de Chao also collaborate closely with the kitchen staff and other team members to ensure all special requests and order details are communicated effectively. They manage beverage and dessert orders while maintaining a polished and professional demeanor throughout their shift. The job is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for long periods and the capability to transport objects up to 25 pounds. Candidates must also be flexible to work weekends and holidays, essential times for peak restaurant service.
Employment type for this position is hourly with a fixed base rate of $3.63 plus eligibility to receive tips, enhancing total earning potential. Fogo de Chao supports its team with a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance available to full-time hourly employees after 60 days from their hire date. Additional protections, including company-paid life insurance and short-term disability, are provided where allowed. Comprehensive voluntary benefits such as critical illness coverage, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, permanent life insurance, and pet insurance are also offered to enrich the healthcare options available to team members. Part-time employees are not left out and have access to minimum essential coverage health plans, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, with opportunities to enroll in voluntary benefits.
Fogo de Chao is committed to equal opportunity employment, maintaining an inclusive work environment where diversity thrives. This Server role offers a rewarding chance to join a unique dining concept where passion, excellence, and community come together to feed a purposeful future for both guests and employees alike.
