Now hiring Servers, Waiters, and Waitresses, Fogo de Chao is seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to join their vibrant team. Servers are the face of the restaurant, responsible for creating positive first impressions by welcoming and engaging with guests warmly. The position calls for someone who is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu items and the continuous table-side serving concept unique to the churrasco dining style. Candidates will be expected to assist guests with menu inquiries, take beverage and dessert orders, and communicate special meat requests to the specialized Churrasqueiros.

The role requires standing for extended periods and working at a quick pace while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. Team collaboration is essential, as servers often assist one another to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences. Additionally, servers perform essential opening and closing duties to prepare and close the service area for each shift. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to transport objects up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work at a quick pace
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Legal authorization to work in the country
  • Availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and politely
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Basic math skills for payment processing
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, make eye contact, and use a friendly verbal greeting
  • Pull each guest's chair and lay the napkin in their lap
  • Present menu and answer any questions regarding the menu items
  • Be prepared to answer questions regarding the preparation methods and continuous table side serving concept
  • Take and serve beverage and dessert orders and communicate to the Churrasqueiros any special requests for meats
  • Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment
  • Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate
  • Complete any beginning or closing shift duties
