This opportunity is for a full-time management position based at 5 Madison Ave, New York, NY. The offered hourly wage ranges from $46.15 to $60.58, complemented by eligibility for bonuses, reflecting the valuable contribution expected from the successful candidate. As a Sales and Marketing Manager within EDITION, you will have a pivotal role in proactively driving business growth through soliciting new clients and managing significant revenue-generating accounts, particularly focusing on large groups and customer segments with substantial potential. You will work closely with individual properties to align customer needs with suitable offerings, maximizing revenue through strategic upselling of packages and services.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional sales functions. You will analyze market conditions, competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, and economic trends to develop tailored sales plans and creative event proposals. Collaborating with internal partners, you will effectively manage business opportunities to meet and exceed both personal and team revenue goals. The role requires sharp negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value contracts while ensuring seamless handover for service delivery according to brand standards.

Building and nurturing strong relationships with existing and prospective clients is at the heart of this position. You will engage in various activities like sales calls, entertainment, familiarization trips, and trade shows to expand the customer base and solidify the brand’s presence in the community. Your proactive approach in providing excellent customer service will foster loyalty and encourage repeat business while maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Additionally, this role demands operational excellence where you will facilitate contract execution, handle customer correspondence, and utilize company resources such as intranet tools and templates for efficiency. Participation in site visits and active support in operationalizing booked business activities will be key aspects of your duties. Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 5 years' experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to develop effective sales plans and manage large customer accounts
  • Proficiency in using intranet and company resources
  • Ability to travel for site visits and events
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
  • Eligibility for full-time employment
  • Willingness to work from the designated office location

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 5 years experience
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience
  • Proven sales and marketing expertise
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Experience managing large accounts and handling complex business
  • Skilled in building and maintaining customer relationships

Job Duties

  • Target accounts, markets, or segments with proactive solicitation and account saturation
