Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • Two years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capacity to manage budgets and daily kitchen operations
  • Willingness to work full-time on site at Aurora, Colorado

Job Duties

  • Lead, influence, and encourage culinary team members
  • Supervise and manage employees and day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Maintain productivity and team cooperation
  • Prepare food items and execute requests during shifts
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Develop and implement new culinary concepts and presentations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage guest satisfaction
  • Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations and purchasing
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee development
  • Participate in employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Attend meetings and communicate effectively
  • Ensure achievement of culinary and budget goals
  • Train employees in safety procedures
