The role of Sous Chef at Sunrise Senior Living is an integral position within their culinary team, tasked with supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and food production to consistently deliver high-quality dining experiences for residents. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years culinary or kitchen management experience
  • food handler certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong attention to detail
  • willingness to collaborate in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary management or as a sous chef
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to supervise and coach kitchen staff
