Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years experience as a Senior Sous Chef or higher
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high energy kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience working as a Senior Sous Chef or higher
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Documentation of right to work in the U.S.
  • Strong drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team
  • Full ownership of role

Job Duties

  • Maintain a high level of food quality and standards ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen
  • Oversee quality standards and ensure that department rules, policies and procedures are maintained
  • Supervise the production of all food items
  • Execute menu items in a timely and efficient manner to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Responsible for the monthly inventory of all items in the kitchen
  • Ensure recipe standards are being followed in line with SUSHISAMBA standards
  • Attend mandatory pre shift briefings
