Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations
  • Strong understanding of TABC compliance and restaurant regulations
  • Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in F&B or restaurant operations leadership preferably in a boutique hotel or upscale dining setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to thrive in high-volume, high-touch environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of TABC compliance, inventory systems, and POS
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house staff in line with Hotel ZaZa's service standards
  • Ensure smooth execution of all service—restaurant, pool, in-room dining—while maintaining quality, efficiency, and an exceptional guest experience
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure all F&B outlets are stocked and operational
  • Collaborate closely with culinary, events, and hotel departments to ensure cohesive service delivery
  • Maintain strong cost controls and participate in forecasting, scheduling, payroll, and budgeting
  • Oversee compliance with TABC laws and company policies, ensuring a safe and responsible environment
  • Ensure the ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation of all service areas match ZaZa's high standards
