This opening is for a Senior Platform Engineer position based onsite at the RTX facility located in Richardson, Texas. This role is vital to one of RTX’s premier programs focusing on advancing ground systems solutions. The Senior Platform Engineer will lead the implementation and evolution of DevOps practices within the program, integrating modern cloud technologies and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and security. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and system administrators, the successful candidate will play a key role in designing capabilities that align with the program's objectives and delivery commitments.

The position requires active and transferable US government-issued security clearance, specifically TS/SCI with Polygraph, and mandates US citizenship due to clearance eligibility requirements. The role is fully onsite, emphasizing close teamwork and hands-on leadership in deploying cloud-native architectures and ensuring robust technical roadmaps that incorporate the latest DevOps methodologies and commercial off-the-shelf solutions. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $86,800 to $165,200 USD, reflective of the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
