Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries. The company's ethos is rooted deeply in service and a unifying purpose that motivates them to do great things for their employees, partners, communities, and the planet. Aramark fosters a workplace culture that values equal employment opportunity and inclusion, ensuring that every employee is free to participate fully in the company environment without discrimination on any legally protected basis. They believe in nurturing talent, igniting passion, and empowering professional development, supporting employees in achieving their full potential regardless of their career goals or backgrounds.
Within this renowned organization, Salute Hospitality serves as Aramark's specialized brand dedicated to providing dining solutions to the military community. American owned and mission ready, Salute Hospitality focuses on supporting service members, their families, and military base communities. With a commitment to wellness and nutrition, Salute delivers menus designed specifically for strength, energy, and endurance. Each meal is crafted by chefs who understand that their contributions serve the overall mission, embodying the motto: Capability Built. Mission Ready. Here for the Full Journey.
The Senior Marketing Manager role within Salute Hospitality is a crucial leadership position responsible for steering and scaling marketing initiatives across the U.S. military installations where Salute operates. This position commands strategic and operational oversight for the Salute portfolio's marketing programs, ensuring brand consistency and effective program advancement in the unique and specialized context of military food service. The ideal candidate will bring a robust marketing background combined with comprehensive knowledge of military culture, the structural nuances of military installations, and the operational realities of base food services.
This role involves partnering closely with various internal teams, including operations, culinary, and business development, to devise scalable and impactful marketing programs that enhance customer engagement, boost participation, and drive revenue growth throughout Salute's national footprint. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead field marketing strategies and execution, overseeing marketing practices at multiple installation sites, coaching marketing staff, and aligning closely with regional operations leaders to meet overarching business objectives.
Moreover, the position requires development of scalable program strategies, including crafting quarterly marketing roadmaps that consider installation size, military mission tempos, seasonal events such as military heritage months, and the specific needs of Service Member audiences. The Senior Marketing Manager will also spearhead rapid promotional campaigns supporting operational priorities and be responsible for the creative development of marketing materials that resonate with the military community's values and culture.
Field enablement and training represent another vital component of this role. Developing comprehensive training toolkits, playbooks, and best practices to empower site-level food service teams is essential to ensuring widespread program adoption and consistent brand messaging. This role also demands leadership in voice-of-the-consumer initiatives to continuously refine and enhance the dining experience based on consumer feedback, driving improvements that enrich the Salute brand across all installations.
Finally, the Senior Marketing Manager aids in the formulation of marketing content for Department of Defense contract proposals, bids, and renewals, working alongside the business development team to tailor messaging that strengthens the Salute brand's competitive positioning within the government food service landscape. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of excelling in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment that serves the brave men and women of the U.S. military and their families.
