Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
5 to 12 years of Java and J2EE development experience
proficiency in client and server side programming
knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
experience with distributed systems and real-time processing
familiarity with relational database and messaging systems
understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
experience with agile and test-driven development
ability to use rich UI frameworks
skilled in application development frameworks
knowledge of SOA and Web Services
experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
proficiency with build, deploy and test automation tools
ability to develop APIs and frameworks

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5 to 12+ years of experience in Java and J2EE development
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns (GoF)
Experience with rich UI frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, DOJO, Ajax, HTML5, Swing, or JavaFX
Proficient in application frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JSF, and Struts
Knowledge of SOA and Web Services development
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
Skilled with build and test automation tools including Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Hudson, Cruise Control, Chef, JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium
Familiarity with developing APIs and frameworks
Preferred experience with Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Spring Boot, and Scrum methodologies

Job Duties

Develop and maintain Java, J2EE and web/internet-based applications
Apply object-oriented analysis and design principles to software development projects
Implement and maintain distributed systems, real-time processing, and messaging systems
Utilize rich UI frameworks like AngularJS, jQuery, DOJO, Ajax, HTML5, Swing, or JavaFX in application development
Work with application frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, JSF, and Struts
Develop and consume SOA and Web Services
Use build, deploy and test automation tools such as Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Hudson, Cruise Control, Chef, JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium
Collaborate in agile and test-driven development environments
Create and maintain APIs and software frameworks
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
