Job Description
HME has been a pioneering force in the drive-thru and professional audio industries since its establishment in 1971. With decades of experience, HME has become synonymous with innovation and quality, delivering cutting-edge communication solutions that support some of the most recognized global enterprises. As a company, HME emphasizes a customer-focused philosophy, believing that the innovation in their products springs directly from a dedicated team that collaborates closely and fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth. Their operations are truly global, with subsidiaries spread across key locations including California, Georgia, Missouri, Canada, the United Kingdom, and China. This expansive footprint allows HME to service diverse customers worldwide, ensuring reliable and clear communication products are accessible in various professional settings.
The company has set industry standards in the quick service restaurant sector by providing reliable drive-thru headsets and timer systems trusted by brands everywhere. Beyond the food service industry, HME’s influence extends into professional audio, with technology that has been showcased in prestigious events such as the Olympic Games. This dual-sector expertise presents an exciting opportunity for those looking to join a company where technological innovation meets real-world application, impacting everyday communication around the globe.
The Senior International Sales Manager role at HME is a pivotal position focused on driving the company's sales and partnership growth outside the United States. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $102,400 to $136,500, commensurate with experience and other factors, along with a comprehensive benefits package. As Senior International Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing strategic sales plans that maximize revenue on a global scale. This includes nurturing existing partnerships, uncovering new market opportunities, and navigating complex international business environments by keeping abreast of product landscapes and industry trends.
The role demands an individual who not only excels in relationship management but also embodies a strategic mindset capable of evaluating and adjusting approaches in response to fast-changing geopolitical and economic conditions. This position involves working closely with distributors and internal teams to enhance sales performance, ensuring customer satisfaction remains central to all initiatives. The manager will also be deeply involved in contract negotiations, setting annual sales targets, and forecasting, effectively acting as a key communicator of sales metrics throughout the organization.
Moreover, the Senior International Sales Manager is expected to be a leader who inspires their team, motivates partners, and leverages multifaceted sales strategies including omni-channel approaches to expand the company’s footprint in emerging markets worldwide. Frequent travel, up to 50%, including international trips, is an essential component of this role, reflecting the global scope of the sales responsibility.
Candidates with a strong educational background in business, particularly those holding an MBA, alongside formal sales and negotiation training, will find this role a fitting challenge. Multilingual abilities, especially proficiency in Spanish, are highly desirable to effectively engage an international client base. The role is designed for a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of commercial growth and an entrepreneurial spirit well-versed in international business dynamics. Success in this position will be marked by the ability to effectively manage key accounts, develop partner relationships, and anticipate market trends to keep HME at the forefront of the industry.
HME also values diversity and inclusivity, offering reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and ensuring equal opportunities for protected veterans and all applicants. The work environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise level, conducive to focused work but with an openness to interaction necessary for collaborative success. Employees also enjoy a benefits package with tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, holidays, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions. This supportive working climate partnered with the company’s forward-thinking approach makes this an exceptional career opportunity for sales professionals aiming to make a significant impact in a global setting.
