Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
- minimum of 7 years progressive experience in hotel operations management
- at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- proven success managing multiple hotel departments
- strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience
- proficiency in property management systems
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- passion for guest service
- experience with luxury or boutique hotel brands preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- a Master's degree is a plus
- minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role such as Operations Manager or Assistant General Manager
- proven track record of success in managing multiple hotel departments and driving operational excellence
- in-depth knowledge of hotel operations including front desk, food and beverage, housekeeping, and revenue management
- strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, profit and loss management, and forecasting
- exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in property management systems and other relevant hotel technology
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry
- strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- a passion for guest service and a commitment to delivering memorable experiences
- experience with luxury or boutique hotel brands is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of all hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- develop and implement operational strategies to achieve departmental and overall hotel goals, including revenue maximization and cost control
- lead, mentor, and inspire a team of department managers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
- manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and monitor financial performance, reporting regularly to senior leadership
- develop and implement service quality standards and continuously monitor guest feedback to drive improvements
- oversee staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance management for all operational departments
- collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive occupancy and revenue
- ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the property
- act as a key liaison between management and staff, promoting effective communication and problem resolution
- stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in hospitality management
