Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of event management experience
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and negotiate complex contracts
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience with site selection, hotel contracting, and logistics
- Proficiency with event management platforms such as Cvent
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Attention to detail and strong customer service orientation
- Vendor management capabilities
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff
- Demonstrated ability to handle safety, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Familiarity with digital and AI tools
- Capability to prepare reports and post-event analyses
Job Qualifications

- Experience working with production and AV partners
- Ability to mentor event coordinators
- Proficiency in Cvent and project management software
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools preferred
- Attention to detail with strong quality assurance skills
- Customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Vendor management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during events
Job Duties
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale live and experiential events
- Manage and reconcile event budgets to optimize spend and ensure financial compliance
- Develop end-to-end event plans including creative direction, spatial design, and attendee flow
- Oversee master session scheduling, concurrent programming, and attendee journey mapping
- Partner with venues and caterers to design inclusive and sustainable food and beverage programs
- Ensure events comply with ADA standards, safety protocols, risk mitigation, and governance policies
- Negotiate vendor contracts and manage vendor relationships throughout event lifecycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align event objectives with business goals
- Co-lead live event execution and troubleshoot challenges in real time
- Prepare presentations and conduct post-event analysis including ROI and attendee metrics
