The Senior Event Planning Manager position is offered within a dynamic, full-service hotel environment known for hosting large-scale and high-volume group and catering events. Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of event planning experience
  • Experience in hotel convention services
  • Ability to manage high-volume group and convention events
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Knowledge of banquet event orders and group resume processes
  • Ability to problem solve quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership capabilities to support other managers

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of progressive event planning experience
  • Experience in hotel convention services preferably in full-service or convention hotel
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex, high-volume group and convention events
  • Strong knowledge of event detailing and banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead planning discussions and manage event logistics
  • Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Lead the planning and execution of large-scale group and catering events
  • Serve as key liaison between clients and hotel operations teams
  • Manage all event details from turnover through execution
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to other Event Planning Managers
  • Act as the group's on-site contact to ensure smooth event execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional departments for seamless event delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve event-related issues promptly
