Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of hotel sales or catering experience
  • Knowledge of general sales techniques
  • Yield management experience
  • Highly developed customer service skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Detail oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing stairs and touring property
  • Ability to hear, speak, read and write English fluently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Execute all aspects of event planning for meetings, reunions, social functions and catering
  • Coordinate all event details including billing, catering, VIP needs, group resumes, rooming lists, and registration cards
  • Target, capture, and coordinate catering sales to meet revenue goals
  • Act as primary on-property contact for clients during events
  • Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups
  • Identify and solve operational challenges associated with events
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide outstanding customer service
