Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- minimum of 5 years' experience in beverage management in a high-volume upscale restaurant or lounge
- proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- strong knowledge of beverage service procedures and mixology
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in inventory and cost control management
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform light work including prolonged standing and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
- knowledge of compliance and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale dining establishments
- strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages including current trends and industry best practices

Job Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive beverage program including spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- curate a diverse and high-quality beverage selection that complements the upscale dining experience
- maintain and update the beverage menu regularly considering market trends, guest preferences, and seasonal offerings
- manage inventory including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies
- ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures to optimize profitability
- train and educate staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation
- conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, upselling skills, and adherence to service standards
- foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team
- establish and maintain relationships with beverage suppliers and distributors
- negotiate favorable pricing, promotional deals, and exclusive offerings
- ensure consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality
- monitor guest feedback and address concerns promptly and effectively
- collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings
- adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to beverage service
- implement and maintain standard operating procedures for responsible alcohol service
