The position of Senior Assistant Manager at CEC Entertainment is a critical leadership role that goes beyond managing daily restaurant operations. This role is central to ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service and leaves happy. The Senior Assistant Manager is responsible for providing employees with the necessary resources, training, motivation, and support to meet and exceed company standards. With an hourly wage ranging from $20.90 to $23.22 and a commission structure that rewards membership and fun pass sales, this role offers competitive compensation. The company also offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing early wage access to employees.
In this role, you will make daily decisions related to time management, staff scheduling, product quality, cleanliness, and maintaining company standards. Managing a team effectively means recruiting, training, developing, and communicating expectations clearly to all team members. You will coach and motivate the staff to ensure high-quality guest service and safety, using your business acumen to exercise good judgment in cost control, financial accounting, inventory management, and labor allocation. The role emphasizes essential skills such as effective communication, ethical leadership, empowering others, and problem-solving, all crucial for fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Benefits for employees are robust, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, employee meal discounts, tuition assistance, and more. The company supports both part-time and full-time employees with benefits suitable to their role, including paid sick and vacation time for eligible full-time workers and state-mandated paid sick leave. The working environment requires physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating a lively and sometimes intense restaurant atmosphere with flashing lights and loud noises.
Joining CEC Entertainment as a Senior Assistant Manager means becoming part of a family-oriented, fun-driven workplace dedicated to the professional growth of its employees and the happiness of its guests. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated leaders with prior management experience looking to advance their career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. With a strong support system and a clear career path, CEC Entertainment offers an enriching workplace where you can make a genuine impact on families and communities.
