Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is a globally recognized leader in providing sophisticated and tailored security solutions. With a rich history of employing and training highly dedicated and skilled professionals, the company prides itself on its commitment to excellence and customer service. GardaWorld operates across various environments including office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and more, ensuring the safety and protection of people and property. The company is not only a top security services provider but also emphasizes career growth for its employees, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and leadership within its ranks. Notably, GardaWorld Security is the only guarding security company in the United States to be certified by Great Place to Work, reflecting its positive work culture and inclusive employment practices.

The role of a Concierge Security Officer at GardaWorld offers a unique blend of security responsibilities and customer service. This position requires individuals who are naturally engaging and able to build meaningful connections that inspire trust and confidence among visitors and clients. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the face of security at various sites, primarily in Kansas City, Missouri, with set schedules and multiple shifts available. The position is full-time with rotating days, offering either a second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. or a first shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing flexibility for those who value structured working hours.

This role comes with a competitive hourly wage of $18, with the added benefit of DailyPay for GardaWorld employees, ensuring financial flexibility. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. GardaWorld also provides uniforms at no cost, underscoring its commitment to supporting its workforce.

As a Concierge Security Officer, your responsibilities will focus heavily on customer interaction, including welcoming visitors, verifying identities, and guiding guests effectively. Access control management, regular patrols to detect and mitigate potential risks, and security equipment inspection are also key duties. The role demands vigilance and readiness to respond to incidents, administer first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams when necessary. Effective communication is essential, as you will answer queries both in person and by phone, document incidents diligently, and relay any security concerns promptly. This position is perfect for individuals with strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for excellent service.

GardaWorld values candidates with a background in security, military, or law enforcement, though it is not mandatory. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., at least 18 years old, and able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. An extensive screening process including background checks and drug screening will be conducted for all potential hires after an offer of employment is made. The security officer role at GardaWorld is not just a job but a promising career path for those seeking to advance within a supportive and dynamic organization. If you have the ambition and desire to represent GardaWorld with professionalism and dedication, this opportunity could be the start of a rewarding journey.
