The role of Security Officer Concierge in Greenville, SC, specifically focuses on the unarmed patrol duties at a prominent commercial real estate location. This full-time position pays $16.00 per hour and operates on a consistent weekday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, providing a stable shift pattern that supports work-life balance. The Security Officer Concierge acts as the frontline representative of Allied Universal, tasked with maintaining safety, preventing unauthorized activities, and delivering exceptional customer service. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a background investigation according to federal state and local laws
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test
  • Licensing requirements may apply according to state and local laws
  • Access control and badge experience preferred
  • Alarm panel experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in security or customer service is preferred
  • Ability to use computers or tablets comfortably
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and act responsibly in emergency situations

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents alarms maintenance concerns and critical situations calmly and document relevant details while communicating updates
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the building common areas parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
  • Monitor entry points observe visitor and vendor activity and report suspicious behavior property damage and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership
  • Support day-to-day property operations by assisting with access control tasks directing people to appropriate areas and completing required reports and logs in a timely manner
