Intuit is currently seeking highly motivated Tax Experts to join the team as part of the TurboTax Store on a seasonal or year-round basis at various newly opened TurboTax locations across the United States. Tax Experts will serve as trusted advisors to customers, helping them navigate through their tax concerns by providing full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and support with the TurboTax software and products.

The Tax Expert position is designed for individuals passionate about tax laws and eager to build meaningful, long-lasting client relationships within their local communities. The role requires a strong on-site presence at a TurboTax location, with opportunities for virtual client interactions using Intuit’s advanced communication technology. Candidates will use their comprehensive knowledge of tax codes and regulations to assist with a variety of tax situations, including personal and business income, deductions, amendments, and future tax planning.

In this capacity, Tax Experts act as proactive community ambassadors who not only provide professional tax services but also actively promote TurboTax within their local markets through events, marketing initiatives, and personalized outreach. Intuit offers a competitive salary ranging from approximately $28.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on location, with additional compensation opportunities including cash bonuses and equity rewards. This role suits professionals with at least three years of tax preparation experience who hold active credentials such as Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Practicing Attorney certifications and possess a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Candidates must also be willing to work in a retail environment, wear a TurboTax uniform, and contribute to building a strong local and online presence related to tax education and community support.
