Job Description
Cinepolis USA is a distinguished luxury cinema exhibitor dedicated to delivering enhanced movie-going experiences through its unique theater concepts, Cin9polis Luxury Cinemas and Movie House & Eatery. Based in Dallas, Texas, Cinepolis USA operates 26 premium theaters across several states including California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio, with ongoing plans for expansion. Serving as the American division of Cinepolis International, the most popular movie theater exhibitor worldwide, the company is deeply committed to innovation, film, and hospitality on a global scale. Its presence in the cinema industry is marked by a blend of sophisticated luxury surroundings and a strong dedication to superior customer service, making it a leading name in upscale movie exhibition.
As a team member at Cinepolis USA, individuals become an integral part of a brand that values its employees above all else. The company fosters a supportive and rewarding work environment where employees can thrive and grow. Team members benefit from generous discounts on tickets, food, and nonalcoholic beverages, as well as special gifts that mark significant work anniversaries, reflecting the company’s commitment to employee appreciation and recognition.
The position being offered is within the Operations Department at the theater location, reporting directly to the General Manager. This role is vital in ensuring patrons receive outstanding service by delivering concessions, kitchen items, and bar items promptly and courteously while adhering to all In Seat Dining procedures. Team members work closely with others, such as the expediter, to ensure that food deliveries are of the highest quality and timed appropriately to enhance the guest experience.
This role requires commitment, integrity, and attention to detail as team members double-check orders for accuracy and communicate effectively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and other team members. Employees assist guests in navigating menus, suggesting promotions, and upselling, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the menu and Cinepolis offerings. Additionally, employees are expected to help maintain cleanliness, assist fellow team members with various tasks including ticket scanning and restrooms checks, and handle guest complaints with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
Due to the nature of the theater environment, employees must be physically capable of walking, bending, standing for extended periods, and handling light to moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance). The work environment involves typical theater noises and activity, requiring employees to stay adaptable and focused amid varying ambient conditions.
Cinepolis USA hires individuals who embody strong interpersonal and communication skills, can handle stressful situations gracefully, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, possess necessary food safety certifications such as ServSafe and Alcohol training, and have preferred experience in food running or bussing. Availability during nights, holidays, and weekends is required.
Cinepolis USA is an equal opportunity employer, steadfast in its commitment to diversity and inclusion regardless of race, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability, or other legally protected statuses. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $20.00, reflecting the value the company places on its team members' contributions. If you are passionate about hospitality and delivering an exceptional entertainment experience, this position at Cinepolis USA offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to be part of a thriving and innovative company.
