Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years cooking experience
  • one year of leadership experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • ServSafe Allergen Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Interact comfortably with a diverse population of guests and kitchen employees to provide outstanding service
  • utilize safe food handling techniques and proper PPE at all times
  • prepare food items according to established recipes and menus ensuring freshness and quality
  • time food production to ensure readiness at service time
  • store food items according to established standards with proper labeling and dating
  • use batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
  • maintain production records and logs with Chef Manager
  • assist in training new and existing employees
  • know menu items including allergens and flavor profiles
  • review menu screens and signage prior to service
  • open and/or close the kitchen when required
  • communicate food production and equipment concerns promptly to supervisor
  • perform other duties as assigned
