The venue features a 3-meal dining experience set amidst the luxury of a sprawling 1-acre pool deck, which overlooks breathtaking views of downtown. The Seasonal Pool Server role is critical to maintaining the high service standards Thompson Houston and Hyatt are known for. Pool Servers at this venue are responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences, engaging directly with guests to deliver prompt and courteous service. The position requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere. Experience with point-of-sale systems such as Micros, handling high-volume service, and strong serving skills are advantageous but not mandatory. Key responsibilities include welcoming guests, explaining menus including special dietary needs, accurately taking orders, coordinating with kitchen staff for timely food delivery, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. - Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Attention to detail ensuring accurate order-taking and payment processing
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus including dietary restrictions and allergies

Job Duties
- Uphold company policies including safety sanitation attendance and dress code guidelines
- Ensure perishable items are properly labeled rotated and discarded to maintain quality control
- Provide prompt friendly and professional service to guests anticipating their needs and responding to questions
- Greet guests warmly assist with seating and provide menus water and drinks
- Communicate specials explain menu items and dietary considerations and take accurate orders
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery
- Serve food and beverages promptly maintaining proper presentation and timing
- Monitor guest satisfaction addressing requests refilling drinks and clearing plates
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally escalating to management as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service including assisting during busy periods
- Process payments accurately and efficiently presenting bills to guests
- Perform opening and closing duties including side work and station setup
- Participate in training sessions department meetings and pre-shift meetings
