The Culinary Associate role at Lido House is a seasonal, full-time, non-management position that offers an hourly wage of $29.20. This role is integral to the food and beverage team, where culinary associates prepare and cook food according to set recipes, quality, and presentation standards. The position also involves preparing ingredients, portioning, chopping, and storing food appropriately before use, ensuring that all food preparation aligns with safety and hygiene procedures. Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
  • Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools, equipment, appliances to prepare baked foods
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area
  • set-up and break-down work station
