Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience
- valid Food Manager Certification
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cooking and teaching
- ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- a degree in culinary arts is preferred, but extensive culinary experience will be considered
- 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience
- valid Food Manager Certification
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- passion for community engagement and exceptional customer experiences
Job Duties
- Create memorable, educational experiences that foster customer loyalty
- deliver exceptional in-store pastry and baking classes that showcase our passion for food
- communicate complex pastry techniques in an approachable and encouraging manner
- stay current on products and actively engage in training for ongoing improvement
- drive sales by encouraging class sign-ups and promoting retail items featured in classes
- meet revenue goals through high enrollment numbers and positive guest feedback
- assist in the setup and breakdown of classes, including organizing ingredients and cleaning workstations
- maintain kitchen readiness by restocking and organizing supplies
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment by properly handling equipment and ingredients
- keep accurate inventory levels and control expenses
- adhere to company policies and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
