The role of a Seasonal Pastry Chef Instructor at Sur La Table is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about baking and pastry arts. This role involves serving as the in-store expert on all things related to baking and pastry, leading customers through memorable, engaging, and educational classes. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Degree in culinary arts preferred or extensive culinary experience
- 1-2 years of experience in kitchen operations
- Valid Food Manager Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers and team members
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs safely
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Degree in culinary arts preferred or extensive culinary experience and technical proficiency
- 1-2 years of experience in kitchen operations
- Valid Food Manager Certification
- Strong communication skills
