As a Seasonal Hospitality Concierge at Hess Persson Estates, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable guest experiences by serving as the warm and welcoming first point of contact for guests. Your responsibilities will span managing inquiries via phone and email, providing detailed and personalized information about tastings, tours, and VIP experience upgrades, and assisting with booking reservations using the Tock software platform. Your role involves crafting seamless, high-touch interactions that begin well before guests arrive, ensuring each visit is elevated with thoughtful touches and recommendations that create a magical atmosphere. The position also encompasses supporting the Wine Club and Visitor Center operations, performing tasks such as maintaining the Wine Club database, assisting members with account updates, and troubleshooting shipping and merchandise order issues.
This role requires not only exceptional customer service skills but also a genuine passion for hospitality and the wine industry. Candidates should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment, and communicating clearly and professionally across various platforms. Job Requirements
- Standing at a desk for extended periods
- Walking, bending, lifting wine cases up to 40 lbs, assisting with event setup
- Using office equipment like phones, computers, copiers, mailing machines and laminator
- Experience with shipping software such as UPS, FedEx, DHL
- Handling wine related devices including buffing cloths, corkscrews, wash racks, decanters
Job Qualifications
- A passion for people and a natural talent for hospitality
- 2+ years in a guest-focused role
- hospitality or wine industry experience is a plus
- Confident and professional communication over phone and email
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- Super organized with great time management and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and guest focused
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Tock, Commerce7 and Red Chirp is a bonus
Job Duties
- Manage hospitality inquiries via phone and email from existing patrons, guests, and referral sources
- Share your knowledge and passion for wine by promoting tasting and touring experiences
- Use Tock reservation software to book visits
- Customize confirmations with helpful details and personal touches
- Recommend upgrades and special touches to elevate guest visits
- Help manage reservations calendar with accuracy
- Assist with Wine Club database management and member support
- Support Visitor Center hosts in guest interactions and sales
- Assist with event setup, pouring, and guest support at special events
- Represent Hess Persson Estates at off-site wine community activations
