Pelican Hill is renowned for its commitment to quality and guest satisfaction, providing a serene environment that combines the natural beauty of the coastline with exquisite attention to detail. The resort features a range of luxury accommodations, fine dining options, a championship golf course, a spa, and various recreational activities, all designed to offer an unparalleled guest experience. As a prestigious member of the Marriott International family, The Resort at Pelican Hill upholds Marriott’s values of excellence, diversity, and community engagement.
The Food and Beverage Culinary position at The Resort at Pelican Hill plays a critical role in delivering this high standard of service. This full-time, non-management role offers a competitive wage of $30.00 per hour and requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about quality food preparation and presentation. The role also includes responsibilities such as thawing food, portion control, food garnishing, maintaining food logs, and ensuring that the quality and quantity of prepared food meet the resort's strict standards.
Additionally, the position demands excellent communication skills to coordinate with the kitchen team and food and beverage service staff, especially during busy periods. The individual will support menu planning by informing chefs about excess items and sharing information about menu specials or stock shortages with the service team. The Food and Beverage Culinary team member must be proactive, often assisting management in various tasks such as training and motivating staff, maintaining safety protocols, and upholding the resort’s high standards of appearance and professionalism.
