The company operates multiple wineries and tasting rooms throughout Napa Valley, including Mumm Napa, where the focus is on sparkling wines that represent elegance, quality, and a memorable tasting experience. Trinchero Family Estates values its employees and promotes a culture of inclusivity, professional growth, and guest-centric service, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and engaged during their visit.
The Concierge position at Mumm Napa is a seasonal, nonexempt role based in Napa, California, with a schedule from Saturday to Wednesday, June through October. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for visitors, playing a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience by providing a warm, professional, and gracious welcome. This role involves managing the reservation process, welcoming guests, explaining wine experiences, and assisting in upselling to enhance visits. Precision and attentiveness are crucial since the Concierge must accurately input guest data into reservation systems, coordinate seating, and flag special requests such as dietary restrictions or celebrations. The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment is essential, as the Concierge ensures smooth operations across various venues and experiences at Mumm Napa.
In addition to greeting guests with a warm demeanor, the Concierge must anticipate and address guest needs proactively, collaborating seamlessly with front and back-of-house teams. Maintaining an organized and clean reception area to project a professional image is necessary, as is handling guest feedback and complaints discreetly. Familiarity with table management software (Tock) and point-of-sale systems (Commerce7) is important for streamlining operations. The role also includes sharing detailed information about the Mumm Napa brand, wines, club memberships, and local attractions, enhancing the overall guest experience while fostering lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits.

The starting salary ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, training, and education. Trinchero Family Estates emphasizes equal employment opportunities and values diversity, providing a supportive workplace that complies with federal, state, and local employment laws.
