The CDL Driver - Hazmat role at Hachik Distributors is a pivotal position that combines transportation expertise with the utmost attention to safety and regulatory compliance. Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • Current DOT medical certification
  • Completion of FMCSA Registration
  • Ability to continuously lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds
  • Must be 21 years old for transporting hazardous materials
  • A clean driving record (no hit and runs, no DWI/DUI in the last 18 months)
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT and OSHA safety regulations
  • Basic computer skills

  • Valid and unexpired forklift certification (preferred)
  • Valid and unexpired Moffett certification (preferred)
  • Prior commercial driving experience (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record to ensure safe and responsible operation of company vehicles
  • comply with all federal and state regulations for transporting hazardous materials
  • inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe and timely deliveries
  • load, unload, and organize orders while securing products and separating hazardous materials
  • understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations
  • verify purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory
  • support job site safety by identifying and reporting hazards
  • take photos of delivered products as per company policy
  • keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts
