The role of Bartender at Safe Harbor Marinas primarily serves patrons at the Pool Bar and the upstairs Latitude 26 Restaurant. This seasonal position involves preparing tables, greeting customers, taking and delivering orders, processing payments, washing dishes, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the restaurant and bar area after service. Bartenders are expected to possess extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer, and wine, and must consistently provide an excellent customer service experience to Members and guests. The position requires quick thinking, situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate guest needs to maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Previous restaurant or bar experience is essential to succeed in this fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Bartenders must work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required and adhere to SHM's safety and environmental regulations. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various physical movements such as bending and reaching.
