Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Ability to memorize orders and handle multiple tasks
- Punctuality and dependable attendance
- Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings on varying days
- Willingness to work on-call part-time shifts
Job Qualifications
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliable with strong work ethics
- Nurturer of a healthy and safe working environment
- 0 to 1 year of related experience
- Experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet serving may be required depending on location
Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages to patrons at counters and tables in coffee shops, lunchrooms, and other dining establishments
- Present menus to customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- Memorize or write orders on checks, relay orders to kitchen, and serve food and beverages from kitchen and service bars
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary among accounts based on business necessities and client requirements
