Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of relevant cooking experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and varying hours
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Physical ability to perform cooking duties and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare large quantities of meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables by various cooking methods
  • Season and cook all cuts of meats, fish, and poultry
  • Boil, steam, or fry vegetables
  • Make gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, meat pies, fricassees, casseroles, and stews
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Reduce food waste and ensure food safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
