Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Minimum one year back of house kitchen experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Successful completion of training program

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Minimum of one year experience in a restaurant back of house kitchen environment
  • Ability to perform measurement conversions on recipes
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Advanced knowledge of kitchen stations and cooking methods
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and inclusive excellence
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Completion of restaurant training program
  • Preferred SERV Safe certification

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time and in proper uniform
  • Correctly season, cook, and plate all side station food products
  • Complete all station closing duties and assist in kitchen cleanliness
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in the work area
  • Foster communication and teamwork within the restaurant
  • Check stock and par levels before shifts and communicate discrepancies
  • Restock food items and supplies throughout the shift
  • Prepare all food according to company recipes and standards
  • Set up the side station with all necessary items
  • Communicate and coordinate with the broiler cook for timely food preparation
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions
