The Lead Bartender acts as the shift leader, responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the bar. This includes coaching and mentoring bartenders and support staff to uphold high service standards, maintaining thorough beverage knowledge, and ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. The role involves acting as a key point of contact during shifts, managing operational needs, and fostering a positive team environment. The Lead Bartender is also charged with preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and presentation that meet company standards.\n\nIn addition to guest service, the Lead Bartender handles opening and closing responsibilities for the bar, including stocking supplies, equipment checks, cash-outs, cleaning, and completing operational checklists. This position requires strict adherence to local, state, and federal alcohol regulations, as well as compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards. The Lead Bartender also plays an essential role in inventory management, coordinating replenishment needs, minimizing waste, and assisting with liquor counts and audits.
