Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated kitchen team member to join us from Sunday to Wednesday, working from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The starting pay for this position is $32,032 per year, reflecting our dedication to rewarding hardworking team players. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a bustling kitchen environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in preparing food with precision and care.

As a kitchen team member, your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality sandwiches and wraps using top-notch products while ensuring shelves are well-stocked. Additionally, you will prepare gluten-free pizzas, paying close attention to the choice of toppings, sauces, and cheeses to achieve an outstanding taste and appearance. Your ability to follow recipes accurately and apply proper food handling and sanitation procedures is essential to maintaining our quality standards and ensuring customer safety.

This role demands excellent organizational skills as you will need to plan your day efficiently to complete all necessary tasks in a timely manner while remaining flexible to accommodate any changes. Job Requirements

  • Has experience in a commercial kitchen

  • A self starter and self manager, always looking for where they can help
  • Can stand for long periods of time
  • Can lift and carry items up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

Job Duties

  • Produce high quality sandwiches and wraps with great products and keep shelves full
  • Produce gluten free pizzas with excellent toppings, sauces and cheeses
  • Use appropriate techniques to achieve high quality products
  • Able to follow recipes and produce consistent, visually enticing items
  • Plan your day so needed items and tasks are completed efficiently, timely, while still being flexible to change if needed
  • Know and follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Safe knife skills
