Job Description
Graton Resort & Casino is a premier destination known for its luxury hospitality and entertainment services located in Northern California. This resort combines a vibrant casino experience with exquisite dining, upscale accommodations, and rejuvenating spa and salon services. The establishment prides itself on providing guests with exceptional service and an unforgettable experience, emphasizing luxury and comfort. Graton Resort & Casino consistently aims to exceed guest expectations by upholding the highest standards of hospitality while fostering a warm and welcoming environment. As a part of its commitment to excellence, the resort seeks to maintain a workplace culture that values teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement, making it a top choice for careers within the hospitality industry.
The role of Spa and Salon Receptionist at Graton Resort & Casino is a vital position that ensures the seamless coordination of guest arrival and departure transactions within the spa and salon departments. This full-time role demands a diligent and enthusiastic individual who can uphold the resort's luxury standards while managing guest bookings and inquiries efficiently. Spa and Salon Receptionists act as the first point of contact for guests entering these facilities, providing a friendly and professional greeting, handling appointment scheduling, and addressing any guest concerns with positivity and adeptness. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, receptionists are not only responsible for accurate booking and confirmation of spa and salon services but also for ensuring that the reception area remains clean and well-organized, contributing to the overall guest experience. They must possess comprehensive knowledge of the spa and salon services offered, including amenities, protocols, and retail products, to inform and assist guests effectively. The position also includes administrative tasks such as completing shift reports, entering guest information into the booking system accurately, and maintaining communication with guests and management. Employees are expected to complete all training courses mandated by management to stay informed of the latest procedures, policies, and service offerings.
Additionally, the Spa and Salon Receptionist must embody the resort's values by delivering outstanding guest service consistently and promoting a positive atmosphere. The ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management is paramount, alongside a certification for Responsible Beverage Service that must be obtained or already held. Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the hospitality industry, is highly preferred, as is basic computer competency and cash handling skills.
Physically, the job requires stamina and manual dexterity, as receptionists stand for the entire shift and may lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds intermittently. The role also involves sitting, walking, climbing, bending, balancing, and kneeling as part of daily activities. Overall, the Spa and Salon Receptionist position at Graton Resort & Casino offers a rewarding opportunity to engage with guests in a dynamic luxury environment, contributing significantly to the guest experience and the resort's reputation for excellence.
