The role of Sales Professional at Holiday Inn involves developing business through direct sales solicitation within an assigned territory or market segment. The position requires an individual who is proactive, driven, and personable, with the aim of establishing and maintaining a strong client base comprising individuals, organizations, associations, and corporate businesses. This role is designed to meet and exceed room night sales and revenue goals by actively prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has some college education supplemented by 1-2 years of sales or marketing-related experience, with prior hotel sales experience and fluency in English preferred. Other languages are an advantage.
In this role, the Sales Professional will negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rentals, function spaces, and hotel services under approved booking guidelines. They are responsible for accurately producing and reviewing all sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet/catering event orders. Additionally, the role may involve assisting in developing and implementing sales plans, participating in the annual budgeting and planning process, and serving as manager on duty as required.

Job Duties
- Establish client base through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel, actively prospect and qualify new business, achieve personal and team sales goals, negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rentals, function space and hotel services within approved guidelines, produce and review sales contracts, rate agreements and event orders, assist in developing and implementing sales plans, work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services, arrange and conduct special events and site inspections, maintain client files and update sales information, produce monthly sales reports and forecasts, represent hotel at trade shows and conventions, follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and future bookings, monitor inquiry calls and provide proposals as per policies, perform other duties as assigned
