Job Description

PAH Management is a respected hotel ownership and management company based in Dallas, Texas. The company operates 11 select-service hotel properties across five states with prestigious affiliations under the Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt portfolios. Unlike many management companies, PAH Management owns and operates its assets directly. This ownership model gives the company’s employees, particularly Sales Managers, significant authority and direct access to leadership. This structure allows the Sales Managers to have a genuine and measurable impact on their property's financial performance. At its core, PAH Management prioritizes associate development and fosters a positive work culture aimed at making it America’s preferred hotel management firm. Their team-focused approach encourages employee growth, innovation, and collaboration.

The Sales Manager position at the Hampton Inn Fort Myers represents an exciting opportunity within a dynamic and growing market. Fort Myers is well-known for its robust corporate, leisure, and extended-stay hotel demand. The Sales Manager plays a critical role as the primary revenue generator for the property. This role is responsible for cultivating and maintaining a diverse account base, pursuing new business across multiple market segments, and collaborating closely with the General Manager to maximize occupancy and revenues, specifically focusing on increasing RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room). This position requires a self-driven sales professional who excels in prospecting, relationship-building, closing sales, and recognizes the essential connection between excellent hospitality and effective sales strategies.

As part of the team, the Sales Manager will proactively solicit new business from corporate transient groups, government accounts, and extended-stay markets through diverse approaches such as direct sales calls, cold outreach, networking, and active community participation. Managing and expanding an existing portfolio is key, alongside generating new leads to ensure a healthy and diversified sales pipeline. The role also includes conducting property tours and presentations to potential clients and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings. Engagement in local events such as trade shows, sales blitzes, and chamber functions helps increase the hotel’s market presence and share. Additionally, responding promptly to sales inquiries and preparing competitive proposals while negotiating contracts within established rate parameters are vital tasks in this position.

Strategic collaboration is emphasized as the Sales Manager partners with the General Manager to develop and execute annual sales plans, set goals by segment, and adapt strategies based on local market trends and competitive analysis. Familiarity with revenue management principles is crucial in advising pricing decisions that optimize business performance. Maintaining detailed reports of sales activity and account production is another key responsibility, requiring timely updates to the General Manager.

On the account management front, the Sales Manager acts as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring consistent communication, satisfaction, and long-term relationship growth. Coordination with front desk and operations teams is essential to deliver seamless, brand-aligned customer experiences for group and corporate accounts. Prompt and professional resolution of client concerns helps maintain business retention. Lastly, compliance with Hilton brand standards and PAH Management policies is required, including completing necessary brand training and certifications to uphold service excellence and brand integrity.

This role offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and is supported by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, various disability coverages, paid time off, retirement plans, and incentives. PAH Management is committed to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion, creating an empowering environment for all employees to thrive and contribute significantly to the company’s success.
