Gellert Global Group is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join their Foodservice sales channel team. This entry-level, hybrid role is based in Elizabeth, NJ, with a future relocation planned to Madison, NJ in early 2027. The Sales Coordinator position offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career in foodservice sales, sales operations, or account management. The role involves hands-on exposure to diverse sales functions including customer support, sales operations, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to support the sales team.
The Sales Coordinator will serve as a critical support link between Sales Managers and multiple internal departments. Responsibilities will include managing customer inquiries, maintaining accurate sales data, supporting new product launches and promotional campaigns, as well as ensuring timely execution of key sales activities. This position requires strong organizational skills and a customer-centric mindset to effectively contribute to the sales team’s success. The role offers a salary range of $57,000 to $66,000 annually plus bonus opportunities, with pay commensurate with skills and experience.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, supply chain, culinary, or a food related curriculum field
- 0 - 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, culinary, foodservice operations, or a related environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data and sales reports
- Comfortable with hybrid work location change from Elizabeth, NJ to Madison, NJ in Q1 2027
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, supply chain, culinary, or a food related curriculum field
- 0 - 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, culinary, foodservice operations, or a related environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior similar internship experience is a plus
- Proactive communicator with strong organizational skills and a customer service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
- Ability to analyze data and reports
- Strong interest in food and building a career in sales, account management, or sales operations
Job Duties
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Foodservice sales team including customer inquiries, follow-ups, sample requests, POS materials, spec sheets, presentations, and new customer setup
- Support sales meetings, trade show preparation, food show execution, customer calls, trainings, and foodservice events
- Maintain customer lists, trackers, CRM updates, sales activity records, and the Foodservice SharePoint site to ensure information is accurate and current
- Assist with RMA and credit request processes and track follow-up activities to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly
- Coordinate communication around product availability, pricing, promotions, lead times, out-of-stock updates, new item launches, and customer-level launch support
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Excellence, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Pricing teams to support customer requirements and sales initiatives
- Review and route new customer inquiries from trade shows, websites, and customer service channels
- Run sales reports, support basic sales analysis, and track quarterly wins and losses, customer opportunities, assortment gaps, sales initiatives, and key deadlines
- Help keep projects, customer opportunities, and sales priorities moving forward through timely follow-up, organization, and clear communication
