The Sales Consultant role at Guest Worldwide is a vital position responsible for promoting the company’s diverse range of products and services to new and existing customers. This outside sales consulting position focuses on building strong relationships to become the customer's most valued and trusted business partner. Leveraging consultative selling techniques, the Sales Consultant will handle various product categories such as amenities, textiles, room accessories, paper goods, janitorial supplies, cleaning products, FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) products. These offerings are marketed extensively to hotels, management groups, and other relevant markets within an assigned territory.

This role is designed not just to meet sales targets, but to ensure the success of the customers by understanding their unique needs and providing solutions that add value to their operations. The Sales Consultant is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing sales growth and profitability, aligned with company goals. The position offers a base salary with added earning potential through quarterly bonuses based on key performance indicator achievements, providing an attractive compensation structure for motivated sales professionals. Sales Consultants are supported by advanced sales tools and CRM systems like Phocas, GForce, and Salesforce.com to optimize customer targeting and sales processes. Job Duties

  • Maintain and identify new sales opportunities within prospective and existing accounts
  • Make sales calls and presentations to develop and maintain solid customer relationships
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques, product knowledge, ROI, system tools and sales training resources to target new prospects and market opportunities
  • Manage assigned accounts and take corrective action to maintain and improve customer experience
  • Consult regularly with accounts on new products, services, company changes, and opportunities
  • Notify management promptly if accounts are at risk or issues remain unresolved
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Communicate with internal departments to provide information necessary for customer service
  • Assist in new account setups including applications, order guides, pricing, and order schedules
  • Accurately forecast sales results and territory trends
