In this role, associates will support the Store Leadership team by ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and that merchandise is displayed to the highest standards. Additionally, associates handle inventory management tasks such as receiving, replenishing, and organizing products while adhering to safety and cleanliness guidelines. Job Requirements

  • 16 years of age or older
  • No specific education required but high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Up to 2 years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems and various retail software
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others
  • Availability to work flexible retail schedule including weekends and seasonal shifts
  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to work in an active and fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • No specific education required, High school diploma or GED preferred, Up to 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service position, Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems and various retail software tools, Ability to communicate clearly with others, Comfortable working in an active retail environment, Team player with a positive attitude, 16 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions or issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability
  • engage with consumers to understand their needs and preferences
  • demonstrate and explain merchandise
  • make suggestions on suitable options for consumers
  • Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety
  • retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations
  • Perform all required cash register transactions including sales, returns, exchanges, and connecting consumer to loyalty program efficiently and accurately
  • Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow in the stores accurately and efficiently
  • Assist the Store Leadership team in daily operational tasks to ensure smooth store functioning
  • Support and promote Columbia Sportswear Company’s values and mission in all aspects of work
