Job Description
Eddie V's is a distinguished luxury restaurant brand known for its exceptional service, exquisite dining experiences, and commitment to delivering indulgent moments for its guests. Eddie V's operates in a high-touch service culture within the hospitality industry, focusing on upscale dining and contracted event services that appeal to sophisticated clientele seeking exceptional quality and memorable experiences. With a strong reputation for blending fresh, innovative cuisine with an inviting atmosphere, Eddie V's offers a unique dining environment that emphasizes both culinary excellence and outstanding guest relations.
The position of Sales and Events Manager at Eddie V's is a pivotal role responsible for driving profitable sales growth through strategic business development initiatives. This role involves creating and executing comprehensive sales plans targeting the acquisition of new guests and expanding contracted dining business by designing and delivering over-the-top event dining experiences. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the Sales and Events Manager leads a team of 1 to 8 direct reports to ensure that sales targets are consistently met, customer relationships are deeply cultivated, and events are flawlessly executed to exceed guest expectations.
Occupying a critical role in the success of the restaurant, the Sales and Events Manager will manage the local marketing budget with a focus on maximizing return on investment for sales initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with the Managing Partner to identify business needs and address sales gaps through targeted outreach activities, including hosting events, leveraging marketing funds to engage new and returning guests, and implementing proactive sales strategies aligned with local and national events. The manager will also be responsible for overseeing customer relationship management, developing referral partnerships with local chambers, hotels, and convention visitor bureaus, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the guest database to enable personalized marketing outreach.
In addition to driving new business, the Sales and Events Manager will play a key role in nurturing existing relationships to foster repeat engagements and contracted dining opportunities. This involves negotiating contracts, coordinating event details through the group sales software and reservation systems, and ensuring seamless communication with culinary and service teams to create indulgent and memorable event experiences. Maintaining a high level of service during events, including personal presence until key moments in the dining experience, is essential to the role.
The Sales and Events Manager will also contribute to ongoing professional development by participating in and leveraging Eddie V's Host University programs designed to enhance sales acumen and service excellence among team members. This position requires proactive engagement with the Restaurant Support Center for legal, financial, and marketing support, ensuring timely implementation of communications and marketing initiatives.
Offering an annual salary range of $64,000 to $75,000, this full-time position is suited for a motivated individual with a background in luxury brands or high-touch service environments and proficiency in hospitality-related software such as Outlook, OpenTable, and Gather. A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality or Business, coupled with excellent English communication skills, are essential for success in this role. The Sales and Events Manager at Eddie V's has the opportunity to make a significant impact on the restaurant's growth trajectory and guest satisfaction by delivering unparalleled dining and event experiences.
