Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions including use of hands and arms for chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, using appropriate lifting equipment or assistance for heavier loads
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
- Capability to work in varying temperature zones including hot kitchen and cold storage
- Awareness and adherence to safety protocols including use of personal protective equipment
- Adaptability to indoor and outdoor work environments
- Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service
- Experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants preferred
- Proven leadership ability to develop teams and manage performance
- Excellent customer service skills for handling complaints and ensuring satisfaction
- Financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organization skills
- Attention to detail especially in food safety and cleanliness
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and staff development
- Monitor quality control to maintain high food quality and safety standards
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and achieving targets
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain high guest satisfaction
- Set the tone for a positive and fun work atmosphere
