The Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team at Amazon plays a crucial role in driving safety initiatives across global operations. Within this team, the Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) group focuses on developing, implementing, and sustaining safety programs that prioritize employee well-being and operational excellence. Amazon is currently seeking an experienced Safety Program Manager to join the WESE team. The Safety Program Manager will spearhead the creation and deployment of safety strategies that meet the specific needs of Amazon’s diverse environments. Key responsibilities include designing programs through analytical methodologies, managing project timelines and budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively across all organizational levels. This individual will also be responsible for measuring program success using defined KPIs and driving continuous improvements to ensure Amazon’s safety initiatives remain relevant and impactful.
