Job Description

TESIM Electric is a dynamic and forward-thinking company specializing in electrical services within the construction sector, particularly focused on high-demand, mission-critical environments such as data centers. Known for its commitment to excellence and safety, TESIM Electric consistently meets the rigorous standards set by hyperscale general contractors (GCs) and data center owners. These clients require not only technical proficiency but also an uncompromising dedication to safety protocols, which is why TESIM Electric prioritizes building and maintaining a top-tier safety culture. The company operates in a high-stakes industry where safety failures are not tolerated, and maintaining a documented, active safety program is essential to remaining competitive and qualified for major bids.

TESIM Electric is currently seeking a Safety Manager to lead and manage its comprehensive safety program. The role is critical for ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA standards, workers' compensation requirements, Department of Labor (DOL) mandates, and Environmental Management Reports (EMR). The Safety Manager will be responsible for creating robust safety policies, procedures, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training curricula tailored to the unique demands of the electrical and data center construction industry.

This position involves a hands-on approach including daily presence on job sites to conduct safety walks and toolbox talk coaching sessions with foremen and craft workers. By fostering a safety-first culture, the Safety Manager ensures that TESIM Electric not only complies with safety standards but exceeds them, thereby maintaining favorable relationships with owners and general contractors. Other key responsibilities include managing incident investigations, reporting, and maintaining all safety-related qualifications and certifications such as ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce.

Training is a significant aspect of the role, with oversight of programs including OSHA 10 and 30-hour courses, NFPA 70E electrical safety standards, CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as task-specific safety certifications. The Safety Manager will also be responsible for developing safety metrics and reporting structures that allow leadership to make data-driven decisions to enhance workplace safety continuously.

TESIM Electric offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $44 to $71 depending on experience. The compensation package includes essential benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, vehicle or mileage reimbursements, and paid holidays. TESIM Electric values bilingual candidates, particularly those proficient in English and Spanish, although this is preferred and not mandatory.

In summary, the Safety Manager role at TESIM Electric is both challenging and rewarding, offering a unique opportunity to influence and enhance the safety culture within a growing company serving high-profile, hyperscale data center projects. The ideal candidate will have significant construction safety experience, preferably with electrical or mission-critical environments, and the leadership skills to coach and enforce safety programs effectively onsite. Joining TESIM Electric means becoming part of a company dedicated to safety excellence and operational integrity in the complex field of data center construction.
