With a presence that spans across the United States through 17 offices, including its headquarters in Boston, Suffolk delivers comprehensive value across the entire project lifecycle. The company integrates core construction management services with complementary business lines such as real estate investment, design, self-perform construction, and advanced technology ventures through Suffolk Technologies. By leveraging cutting-edge data, artificial intelligence, and technology integration with its Seamless Platform, Suffolk connects design, construction, and operations to produce smarter and more predictable project outcomes. This holistic approach redefines the construction sector, enabling Suffolk to manage some of the most complex and transformative projects spanning healthcare, life sciences, education, gaming, aviation, transportation, government, mission-critical, and commercial sectors. The role offered at Suffolk is centered around the vital area of Safety and Health Management within the construction domain. The position involves close collaboration with the Superintendent and Project Manager to administer, direct, and ensure compliance with Suffolks Corporate Safety and Health policies and procedures. The Safety and Health professional will engage in thorough review and approval of subcontractor safety programs, conduct accident investigations, and facilitate training sessions on OSHA regulations and hazardous material handling.

This position demands a thorough understanding of construction safety legislations, proven experience in safety management within advanced manufacturing or construction settings, and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of federal and state safety codes, and qualifications including OSHA Construction Industry Outreach Trainer certification, with a commitment to attaining CHST designation. Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities are essential, alongside a collaborative leadership style and a meticulous approach to safety monitoring and documentation.
