As a Safety Manager at The Beck Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in the company's construction projects. This full-time role involves overseeing and managing the company's comprehensive safety programs, policies, and protocols, maintaining the highest safety standards throughout all phases of construction. You will lead and mentor a team of safety professionals, provide guidance and support, and foster continuous professional development within your team. Your position also requires close collaboration with project staff and subcontractor representatives to define safety roles and responsibilities in alignment with Beck's Zero Accident Plan.

Your duties will include conducting detailed pre-planning safety meetings, regular weekly safety sessions, thorough incident investigations, and formal jobsite inspections. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations including OSHA standards, and enforce company-specific policies such as Beck's Drug and Alcohol Policy. Delivering training sessions and safety orientations for both new employees and trade partners is a key component of helping the company maintain a proactive safety culture.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain organized safety documentation and use construction technologies and software like Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC to effectively manage safety data. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential, as you will be identifying opportunities for safety enhancements and staying current with industry trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate should have between 5-8 years of progressive experience in construction safety with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Essential qualifications include a robust knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards, a relevant safety certification such as BCSP CHST or higher, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with construction software platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
