Job Description
Join a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment where passion for food and exceptional service is at the core of the guest experience. This establishment prides itself on delivering not only delicious dishes crafted with care but also impeccable hospitality that leaves guests feeling valued and well-attended. As a key member of the front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the kitchen and the dining area to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in busy settings, enjoy working collaboratively, and possess a keen attention to detail. The position is typically part-time or full-time, with competitive hourly wages and opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry.
The runner/expo position is the lynchpin between the kitchen and guests, responsible for ensuring that food is delivered quickly, accurately, and with enthusiasm. You will be in constant motion, efficiently reading tickets and finishing plates to guarantee that each dish leaving the kitchen meets the establishment's high standards. Beyond just running food, you will relay important information to guests such as describing the dishes presented and addressing any special requests or needs they may have. You will act as an ambassador of the restaurant's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a proactive approach to helping both the kitchen and servers run smoothly. Additionally, you will assist with side work during slower periods, ensuring stations are stocked and clean to maintain operational excellence. This position offers a rewarding blend of teamwork, fast-paced action, and direct guest interaction, making it an ideal role for those passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to an outstanding dining experience.
