Job Description
Cinepolis USA is a premier luxury cinema exhibitor dedicated to delivering enhanced movie-going experiences through its unique theater concepts, including "Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery." Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Cinepolis USA operates 26 luxury and premium theaters located across key states such as California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio. The company is part of the globally recognized Cinepolis International, which is the most popular movie theater exhibitor worldwide. This affiliation underlines its dedication to innovation in the film exhibition industry and hospitality services on an international scale.
This dynamic and expanding company places significant emphasis on creating a memorable, high-quality entertainment and dining experience for every guest. As part of its commitment to excellence, Cinepolis offers not only innovative screening technologies but also premium concessions and in-seat dining options which elevate the traditional cinema experience. Employees are vital to maintaining this high standard, as the company fosters a culture built around delivering exceptional service, hospitality, and guest interaction.
The role of a Cinepolis Team Member is crucial to the daily operations of the theater. As a team member, you will play a key role in delivering a luxury experience to guests, with responsibilities that span from managing food and beverage service to supporting general theater operations. This role involves delivering concessions, kitchen items, and bar items directly to guests while embodying the company’s commitment to “Nice and Amazing Service.” Working closely with an expediter, a team member ensures timely, high-quality food delivery and guest satisfaction.
Additionally, team members actively contribute to maintaining cleanliness and order in the auditorium areas and assist their colleagues to provide seamless service throughout the theater. Another important aspect of the role involves effective communication — guiding guests through menu options, upselling additional items, navigating guest concerns, and liaising with management when needed. This multi-faceted position requires a strong focus on attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that often involves managing multiple demands simultaneously.
Cinepolis values employees and invests in their development through ongoing training sessions and regular meetings aimed at enhancing team performance and guest engagement. This role offers a base pay ranging from $16.90 to $19.50 per hour, along with a generous employee discount on tickets, food, and nonalcoholic beverages. Team members also receive special recognition gifts upon reaching milestone work anniversaries, which illustrates the company’s commitment to employee appreciation and satisfaction.
Working conditions include a typical cinema atmosphere, where noise levels can range from moderate to high, and physical demands require standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting. The company actively supports inclusivity and equal opportunity, ensuring recruitment, hiring, and promotion practices that are free from discrimination based on protected characteristics. Joining Cinepolis USA means becoming part of a reputable entertainment brand that values integrity, hospitality, and the art of film exhibition on a luxurious scale.
